After a federal judge called an Illinois law defending murdering unborn children by shutting down pregnancy centers “stupid and unconstitutional” the Prizer regime is backing away from their murderous plans. The state will halt all prosecutions of pro-life centers and pay the legal fees of anyone that was unjustly prosecuted.
“We are elated that a permanent injunction has been issued against Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul and SB 1909, which ensures the unconstitutional law will never go into effect,” said NIFLA president Thomas Glessner. “This is a huge win not only for NIFLA and our wonderful attorneys at the Thomas More Society but especially for pregnancy centers in the state, who serve thousands of women in Illinois who are facing unplanned pregnancies – all at no cost.”

The state of Illinois has agreed to not enforce a bogus that attempting to shut down pro-life pregnancy centers that help pregnant women find abortion alternatives.
This comes after a federal judge said the law was “stupid and likely unconstitutional.”
State Attorney General Kwame Raoul has agreed to a permanent injunction against the law, which falsely claimed pregnancy centers were engaging in “deceptive business practice” or “consumer fraud” by informing women of abortion’s risks, dangers and alternatives.
Under the agreement the state made with pro-life attorneys for the pregnancy centers, the state will refrain from prosecuting any pregnancy centers and the state will pay attorneys fees to the pro-life lawyers who had to step in to protect the centers.
Gov. Jay Pritzker, a Democrat, signed the Deceptive Practices of Limited Services Pregnancy Centers Act on July 27 – a pro-abortion law that is now essentially null and void.
Thomas More Society and the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates , both pro-life legal groups, told LifeNews they were glad Illinois agreed to ditch the law.
